An Arkansas lottery player beat the odds when three of his four $50,000 Frenzy tickets turned out to be winners, totaling an incredible $50,000.
What began as a routine stop for gas ended in an extraordinary stroke of luck for one Arkansas lottery player—one that defies the odds in a big way.
Jacob Yates of Craighead County walked into Jordan’s Kwik Stop #69 in Osceola on November 12, 2025, intending to fuel up and maybe try his luck on a few scratch-offs. A monthly lottery player, he had been eyeing the newly released $50,000 Frenzy tickets, knowing several top prizes were still unclaimed. So he bought four of them—his usual strategy to boost his chances.
But nothing could have prepared him for what happened next.
Sitting in the parking lot, Jacob scratched through his first ticket and revealed a $10,000 prize. Already thrilled, he moved to the next tickets—only to uncover two more winners, each worth $20,000.
Out of four tickets, three were winners, combining for an astonishing $50,000 total prize.
“I thought I had only won $10,000 at first,” Jacob told lottery officials. It wasn’t until he double-checked the remaining tickets that the full scale of his win hit him.
The moment was so surreal that he immediately called his parents to share the news. Shock quickly turned into celebration.
The unexpected windfall will allow Jacob to achieve a longtime goal: relocating to be closer to his daughters—a dream now made possible by an exceptionally rare and lucky streak.
