Analyzing the Winning Numbers in Ithuba’s Powerball is a popular strategy among players, as some prefer to select Cold Numbers, believing they are due for a draw soon.
Although lottery draws are random and each number has an equal chance of being selected, some numbers statistically should have appeared in recent draws based on probability. However, due to pure coincidence or other reasons, these numbers have not been drawn for several months.
As such, as of Sunday, 19 May 2024, these are the numbers that have been missing from the Powerball draws for several months now:
| Top 3 Coldest Numbers | ||
| Number | Draws ago | Last drawn |
| 34 | 42 | 26 December 2023 |
| 50 | 39 | 5 January 2024 |
| 49 | 37 | 12 January 2024 |
The rationale for focusing on the above numbers is rooted in the belief that they are likely to be drawn soon based on statistical probability.
Players often use a mix of strategies, including hot and cold numbers, birthdays, or random selection, but ultimately, lottery draws rely on chance.
While we can’t predict the future, there are ways that may allow us to better predict certain numbers, provided luck is on our side. See this guide for more details.
