Since then, he began dressing in expensive clothes and has been seen with celebrities like Moruti Gucci and Team Delela.
Skomota also purchased a car and a house, and he used some of his winnings to spoil his friends and family.
A month after he won R3 million, a video capturing him engaging in a passionate kiss with a slay queen at a bar surfaced.
Allegedly, Skomota suffered a substantial financial loss in the thousands of Rands to the lady he kissed in the video.
Because of his rising fame, Skomota landed a reality television show on Moja Love in April 2024.
This show will reportedly take viewers behind the scenes to discover more about his family life, his girlfriends and his childhood.
Skomota’s viral dance
Shortly after Skomota won R3 million from Betway, he became a public interest, and what amused people the most was his unconventional dance moves.
The initial video of him dancing attracted so many comments and so much mimicry that, at one of his public appearances, those who recognised him from the video took videos of themselves with him.
This resulted in the so-called Skomota dance challenge, which gained momentum on various social media platforms, including TikTok and X (previously named Twitter).
Skomota’s secret to success
In an interview conducted shortly after he won R3 million, Skomota was asked about his winning strategy.
He responded that no human being could provide a definitive answer and that winning is merely a matter of luck on a given day.
Furthermore, he revealed that thousands of people use various strategies and tactics to win money on the Betway platform.
But according to him, success is determined by luck, so Skomota seemingly did not use any specific strategies or tactics to win the jackpot after betting on a soccer match.

Shortly after Skomota won R3 million on Betway, several thousands of people created a Betway account to try their luck at winning the jackpot.
