A lucky South African Powerball Plus player struck gold on Friday, 25 May 2018, after more than 19 weeks without a winner.
The fortunate winner was one of 212,152 winners in Friday night’s draw. The jackpot winner walked away with the entire winnings of R25 million.
The winning numbers for the PowerBall draw on 25 May 2018, which were: 29, 2, 25, 37, 12 and Powerball 19, also produced winners in eight other divisions outside of the jackpot division.
A lucky winner in division two managed to guess five correct numbers and walked off with some serious winnings of R324,742.60 – though such winnings undoubtedly pale in comparison to the jackpot winner’s 25 million rand loot.
The next Powerball Plus jackpot, as a result of the jackpot winner in this latest draw, now decreases to R1.2 million.
